To
Set Up Your Digital File:
TO BEGIN
1. Include an updated proof of what your prints should look
like along with a Reproductions, Inc. work order form.
FONTS
2. Include copies of all screen and printer fonts used in your
file, including those embedded in EPS files.
3. To prevent font problems in EPS graphics, convert text
to outlines or curves in illustration programs such as Adobe
Illustrator, CorelDraw or Macromedia Freehand.
4. Stick with Type 1 fonts. Postscript output devices handle
Type 1 fonts much better than True Type fonts.
5. Instead of applying a style to your text (i.e. bold, italic
or bold-italic), choosethe proper font that supports that
style. For example, if you want bold Helvetica type, choose
Helvetica
Bold as your font.
